Heat-treated spruce that resists decay and barely moves with the weather
Thermowood starts as the same Nordic spruce as our standard spruce enclosure, then goes through a thermal modification process: heat and steam only, no chemicals. The treatment changes the wood's cell structure, so it resists decay and barely expands or shrinks with changes in moisture and temperature, unlike untreated spruce. It's built to the Square 1700L hot tub shell's exact shape. Made by Plastprofiil, a composite factory in Riisipere, Estonia, manufacturing since 2012.

Installation and Maintenance

- Maintenance: To preserve the thermowood enclosure we recommend oiling it once a year with deck oil.
- Storage: Good ventilation prevents moisture damage.
